Part of my fabric is both a “wandering” and “wondering” spirit. Travel has been in my core from the outset, I’ve lived and moved about a fair bit: from Jamaica to Oman, to England to Belgium, Canada and Spain… my hat currently lies at the Costa Blanca in South East Spain.
I’ve had wonderful opportunities to work and travel quite extensively to South East Asia, Africa, Australia, North America, and fairly widely in Europe. Family, life and work circumstances keep me wandering thankfully on this beautiful planet!
Over time, my interest, focus and fascination has drawn to personal growth and development, to understand more and look at how we as individuals flourish uniquely, etch out and discover our true selves, build and maintain our wellbeing and accomplish our hopes and dreams, despite adversity.
From both discord and accord, from external and internal factors and influences. Pulls and pushes are not only from our cultures and the fabrics of society but reside from our personal experiences and from within ourselves. I believe in looking at an integrative approach to best seek coherence between our minds, bodies, emotions and also spiritually. To really achieve what we want out of life.
The author Glennon Doyle reflected that life is “Brutiful” – its both brutal and beautiful. Keeping on life’s toes, with all the curve balls that come our way is a balancing act. Making it positive, enjoyable and truly enriching and fulfilling weighs in heavily and nicely on the scale.
